Bambi was born 27.05.2006. She has been evaluated
twice at the BEF Futurities and received
a first premium in 2008 and a high first
premium (8.79%) in 2009. She was bred by
Lynaire Sports horse stud.
Bambi is a friendly, loving mare with a gentle
personality. She has superb paces and is
very athletic - she loves racing and leaping
around the field and has an incredible turn
of speed.
Bambi is showing incredible promise under
saddle, she has smooth rhythmical uphill
paces, natural self-carriage and fantastic
trainable attitude. She adores jumping and
will be entering her first novice competition
shortly.
Benita's dam is a graded Danish mare
called Elmevangs Jutlantia (Nita). Nita (now retired) is trained to
Prix St Georges level in dressage but was
also a 1.40m jumper in her younger years.
The pictures below were taken when Nita was
20/21 years old with Lucy riding her at home.
She had a brilliant technique over a fence
and rarely touched a pole. Benita has inherited
her mum's incredible jump, technique
and kind disposition. Benita's sire is the Grand Prix dressage
stallion, Mooiman (Flemmingh x Roemer). Flemmingh is currently
no.42 in the WBFSH sire rankings for producing
dressage progeny.
Donnavan DH (Dolomit x Galanthus) - the approved
